72 Hour Challenge ~ YES! I’m Challenging YOU!

and myself :)

It’s coming up on the end of the month and for a lot of people the end of the month means there’s a little more month than money. The end of the month is when people get a little panicky and either get depressed and give up or get inspired and get busy!!

Over the last week I’ve had a few resources  come to my attention that have really pushed me to take this challenge myself, and to hopefully inspire you to take it as well.

Dave Navarro put out a new free report this week. How to Start Making Real Money with Your Own Products in Only 3 Days. Like Dave’s other freebies and What’s Holding You Back?  it is fantastic!

I’m sure when you saw the mention of product creation a ton of  “yeah buts” came to mind, in fact, maybe you even thought about not even finishing this post. DON’T.  Go right now and download Dave’s new report. Read it. He is a master of walking people through all those yeah buts (myself included) and making them look like silly little thoughts that we were ridiculous to even entertain. Seriously.

He has a multitude of worksheets in this free report to help you work through your “yeah, buts”, no matter what they are ~ no list? no time? no product? no ideas? no body? Yeah, Dave will help you with that.

But that’s not all this report is, it is also a step by step (7 steps to be exact) manual to get your own product started, finished and out there in the world making money in the next 3 days.

No joke. The process is very simple, and you CAN do it.

Don’t get yourself all worked up by the word “product” and start thinking you have to write a million page ebook to have value ~ the knowledge you have is valuable. You just need to share it. :)

Before Dave’s report came out this week I’d just finished reading Jonathan Leger’s report called “Write That Report“. It is a fantastic little report that will walk you through writing, selling and profiting from a short report. His process is 10 steps, and it doesn’t get much more simple than the way he’s lined it out.

I highly recommend you download Dave’s free report ~ and if for some reason you talk yourself into the fact you can’t do an audio product ~ grab Jonathan’s Write that Report and do a written product. Either way… you owe it to yourself to accept this challenge.

So what’s the challenge?

I challenge YOU (and myself) to put together a simple but valuable product and have it on the market for sale in the next 72 hours.

So… what do you think? Get over your “yeah buts” and do it. It will be the best thing you have done for your business and yourself as a business person yet! Creating a product, having a product that is yours changes everything. It changes the way you look at your business. It changes the way you look at yourself. It adds another income stream to your business. It really is a turning point. Don’t get stuck in the BS… send the kids to a movie with Grandma this weekend, and get busy.

When you get your product done and online ~ come back here and leave a note in the comments section. I’ll definitely want to tweet your awesomeness!

Ready? Set? GO! GO! GO!

So sorry, I cannot access any of the above sites

Regards

Dang ~ when I switched this site to a new hosting acct there were some "glitches" let's say. I should have checked the links. These are great resources, I will go in and fix the links so you can check them out.

ok they are working now ~ make sure you check them out ~ it's good stuff. :)

Wow, I love this idea...I am afraid I missed the official challenge, however I can still challenge myself to complete a product in 72 hours. I have created one product and I did it in about 24 hours. I find the best way is to sit down and do it until it is done.

For sure! I think it's a good idea to take on this challenge regularly. Let me know how it goes!

Hey Russell,

Depends on what you're going to write about. If you're doing a horse related product ~ why wouldn't you use your blog? Social media, JV ~ or working with other people in your niche, setting up an affiliate program ~ all ways you can get the word out about your new product.

I'm taking up your challenge and am about to start work on my product (which will be written as I don't have a camcorder). I just not sure on promoting it. Both Dave N. and Jonathon L. refer to 'your blog' and 'your list'. My horse blog is not really appropriate and I have no list.
I'll use social media sites, but would appreciate your advice on how I should obtain a decent amount of exposure for my product.
Thanks Jackie, and regards
RUSSELL

Hey Jackie,

Great challenge you set for your readers
I have got something in mind so might have
to give this one a go!!

Cheers

Matt :)

Hi Jackie,

I sort of stumbled onto your blog via BlogCatalog.

That was a great post. I'm going to download the report because I want to know more about creating my own product.

Thanks a bunch,
Mike

You should have asked. :) I use e-junkie for all my product downloads ~ except KRR since it goes through clickbank.

I just want to say - the link to ejunkie.com was worth the download. I've been searching for a simple way to sell my own products on my blogs, and that looks like the solution.

Blossom ~ you can start whenever works for you ~ it's getting started that counts. Don't let tomorrow slip by though. :)

I just skimmed through the e-book....

I am so game for this you have no idea.

Jackie,

I will be e-mailing you on Monday so look out for that. Why? You will find out then - I promise you will enjoy the e-mail more than you can ever possibly imagine :)

Doug ~ if you are over 10 years old I'm sure you have marketable knowledge. :)

I use the the wp-125ads plugin (http://www.webmaster-source.com/wp125-ad-plugin-wo...) for my ads in the sidebar. They go into two columns that way because that's the kind of sidebar I have on this site. If you have a sidebar like this on your blog you just choose that option in the plugin area.

Whether you want to do the challenge or not I would seriously suggest you still get Dave's workbook and work through it. It will help you overcome some of the limiting beliefs you have and will only help your business.

No I'm not going to take you up on the challenge but I appreciate your information.
I'd like to know the code for making rows of little box adds on the right hand side of your page though.
where you have Host Gator, OWM etc. I would like to split my page into colums like that for similar style adds.
I seriously doubt I have any marketable knowledge. I know I am too desperate to get something off the ground to stop and try something new at this time.
So much to do just to get some traffic to squid pages and websites.

So are you game Jennifer?? Are you joining the challenge? :)

Hi Jackie,

I've been following your blog for awhile, and I love your straight forward approach. Your recommendations are usually low- or no-cost, and I love that you're challenging us to take it to the next level. Leaving the comfort zone or taking on a challenge means opening a new world of confidence, skill building, and freedom.

Thanks for always sharing your best!
Jennifer

I saw this the other day and bookmarked it - I really don't have time to do it right now, because I'm on a deadline with some freelance stuff. But as soon as I'm done, I'm hitting this!
