A Couple Things To Think About Over The Weekend

Jul 16

1. What is the one thing you want people to do first when they come to your website?

2. Can someone tell what that one thing is within 5 seconds of hitting your site?

3. If not, what can you do to make it so?

Love to hear your thoughts in the comments. :)

  1. I never really thought about that question before. I just always wanted them to read and then click what I needed them to but I never really planned it that way. I think I need to be more conscious of this in the future.

  2. Wow, this is difficult to do! You need a good logo and an even better title page to solve questions no 2. The more complex the structure, the more difficult to name fast and accurately what that thing is.

      Hi Lloyd,
I’m not really one for making things complicated ~ it is all about Keeping It Simple… :)

The one big change I’ve made here was with my tagline. Adding a tagline about what you do and who you do it for can really answer that question and make it clear immediately.
