A Squidoo Tool You May Not Be Aware Of
I recently came across a squidoo site I was unaware of. It is Squidwords.com
Squidwords is a cool site that offers over 100 free color matching banners and phrases for you to add to your squidoo lenses.
I found a great one that says “take our poll” of course in orange. I like to use it in it’s own text box (with no title/subtitle). It seems to fit nicely to accentuate the poll module directly beneath it.
I have found using these banners and graphics helps make my lenses a little more interesting, and seems to break up the text nicely.
Having these “eye breaks” for my readers seems to keep people on the page a little longer, it helps people continue on down the page to get to the bottom.
I highly suggest you take a look at squidwords.com and see if you see anything to spice up your lenses.

The graphics on squidwords sux and it is littered with tons of ads!

The graphics at squidwords are perfect for their use, and since you are getting them all for free I think it’s to be expected the owner of the site would put ads up so they can make some money to provide you with free graphics for your lens.
