Add an RSS feed for affiliate products to monetize your blog

I was reading one of my lessons from Squidoo Secrets today and ended up going down a little bunny trail. I know it’s a great idea to add affiliate products to your blog, to let others know what’s worked for you as well as to earn a little income. What I had no idea about was adding an RSS feed that shows the top 5 clickbank products for any given keyword. That sounds pretty powerful huh?

So how do you do it?

This is not one of my free tips, but if you want to earn some extra affiliate income from your blog it is an excellent idea.

The first thing you do is go to www.rssground.com and become a member. Once you are a member you can go to www.rssfeedsgenerator.com. If you want to generate a list of clickbank products click on the clickbank button at the top. Then put in your clickbank ID. Then enter your keywords and a list will be generated for you. You then get the rss feed url and enter it into an RSS feed Widget in your blogs back office.

Each of the products coming through the RSS feed will already be encoded with your clickbank ID, so when someone clicks on a link in your rss feed and buys through clickbank you will be automatically credited for the sale.

If you are unfamiliar with clickbank the affiliate payouts can be very high and it can be a great way to earn some extra money through your blog by providing people with products targeted to the topic of your blog. Clickbank has products available in just about any niche you may be talking about, so take a look and see if it might be something you can use.
