Affiliate Marketing Step by Step
Apr 23
I love this blog.
This was my baby when I started out a few years ago without knowing better than to jump into the Internet Marketing niche. I have chronicled my journey here, let people know what worked for me, and of course the dumb things I did that I shouldn’t have done.
I really wanted to see this site be a road map or action plan for people to really make money online. I look around now, and I see a bunch of mish mash ~ good info, but minimal step by step strategy.
I feel like now that I have created a real full time income from internet marketing that I would like to share the real life steps I take and have taken to get here.
It is my intention to help people who really want to work from home succeed, bit by bit, one step at a time.
I thought about reorganizing this site and frankly that seemed like way too much effort. It seems more simple to just start a whole new site. Don’t worry I”m not going to leave my baby ~ I’ll still be posting. I will also be adding a whole new affiliate marketing step by step site to my plate.
You all know I believe in the Law of Attraction, and when I set an intention resources just seem to pop up out of no where.
Today I received an email from Jimmy D. Brown. I am one of his affiliates and he had written to let me know he was opening one of his programs that had been closed for a while. Turns out it’s a very step by step affiliate marketing program. It’s one assigment every week, for the next year.
Step by step build your affiliate marketing business from the ground up, one bite every week. Each of the assignments take from 1 to 3 hours each.
Yes, I know he was sending me the notice to promote it to my readers, but DANG ~ it sounded really good. So I bought it. I like to get things and use them and love them before I recommend them to you all.
I got my first lesson and assignment. I was going to wait a few weeks before I told you all about it, but I was so overwhelmed by how MUCH he offered and how simply he was able to offer it that I had to tell you.
The lesson was laid out in a very easy to understand, step by step way.
The assignment was laid out so you know exactly what you need to do over the next week until you recieve your next lesson and assignment.
What I also like about this program is he has also included the ability for each of his students to email him and request more resources. For example, say a checklist would help out with the assignment, you can email him and he will create it, and not only do you get the extras YOU request, but the extras everyone else requests too. It’s way cool.
I really thought when I got to the bottom of the page and looked at the price it was going to be a no go for me, but to my surprise the price was quite low. I scooped it up. I am always looking for more ways to make good money online, and I love Jimmy Brown. I’m sure this is gonna rock. I’ll keep you informed as I go through.
So who do I think this product is for?
- beginner internet marketer ~ with little to no experience
- someone who’s been trying and still not making a solid monthly income
- someone who’s making some money each month but wants to make more
- someone who has made some money here and there, but is not quite sure how or how to do it again
If any of these descriptions sound even a little bit like you I recommend you take a look at what is offered in this program.
Stay tuned for the new affiliate marketing plan site ~ it’s coming very soon. Will be fun to have you from the very first step.

Hi, Jackie. Wow. It’s quite funny in a way how closely one can grow towards his/her own blog. Your post reminds me of myself. It doesn’t matter that my blog isn’t in the popular ‘Alexa top 100.000″, or that my Pagerank is a good 5/10. Or whether it’s just worth $100, or $200 according to others instead of $100.000′s. When you struggle online and while going through all those ups and downs, you post it on your blog – and over time when you read through all those things – wow! Your site have lived up to it’s name. And it stood with you almost just like a real person and for this very reason it thus becomes “priceless” as it tends to have more value to you than it’s actually $100 tag.
Thanks, and to you and your blog’s successes in future.

Dustin ~
I’ve never heard of that program so I can’t really tell you where to start. Is that your site you’ve linked to? Looks to me like you’re not such a beginner.

@Gry dla Dzieci: I think to some extent you are right, unless you find something that walks you through the process, from the beginning. It’s hard to unlearn what you think you already know, but if you found a resource at the beginning that stepped you through it you could learn it before making some of the mistakes. But also, mistakes are just part of the learning curve in internet marketing.
@mattresses guide You are right, there are many ways to make money online. Affiliate marketing is just one. It is great for some people, and may not be perfect for others. Affiliate marketing is one of the things that takes the least amount of time and money to get started and be making money in my experience.

Jackie, nice articles. Although, Affiliate marketing can be very profitable for some and for others can be a pain. It depends upon your personality and how much time you invest on the internet marketing.
This is the problem with affiliate marketing. You usualy can’t learn all this stuff until you try it yourself. And it means wasting a lot of time doing half of the things wrong. I know I started like this…
