Are you instructable? | Another way to get more backlinks

May 31

I was looking for some information about growing upside down tomatoes this morning.  (I received an upside down planter for my birthday). I found a great site called Instructable.  I had never heard of it before, but started looking around.

Pretty interesting. I got to thinking if you have an affiliate product that you can show exactly how to use it this might be a great site to drive traffic to your main site, as well as get a good backlink.

All you have to do is photograph the progress, or make a video or slideshow and then upload your process into instructable.

It allows you to put links in (hyperlinked with keyword as anchor text), as well as tell your story.

Take a look and then use your imagination! If you are promoting physical products this might be a great way to get more traffic and make more sales.

Here’s the planting upside down tomato Instructable I found this morning.

Once I looked around my mind got to going and I can think of tons of ways to use this site.

What do you think?

Let me know in the comments.
