Are you tweeting at twitter?

I admit I have an account over at twitter, and sometimes when I go through social marker I will add to twitter, but I don’t really have a grasp on how and why I should be using [tag-ice] twitter[/tag-ice].

Today I ran across a couple AWESOME blog posts about twitter I thought I would share with you.

It has really made me take a look at twitter and see how I can use it in my marketing strategy.

The first post was some tips from ProBlogger about How to use twitter to promote a blog. It was very interesting and sounds exciting, unfortunately with my lack of understanding of the hows and whys of twitter I didn’t really know how to put any of it into action.

Luckily in the comments section a wonderful blogger named  Caroline Middlebrook offered a link to a comprehensive twitter guide

I’m still working my way through it, but twitter is looking more and more fun as I go.

Are you using twitter? If so I’d love to know how you are using it and how it’s working for you!

Once I get a handle on it, I’ll let you know how it’s going. :)

  1. 3+ years after the original post – Tweeting is software automated – at least for those in the online business arena. Everyone is looking for shortcuts to success. I still think that human action and a bit of sweat equity get better results than software robots.

3 years after the original post, and I still humanly post my tweets. :) I also don’t follow back people who only have automated tweets posted from their blog and no real conversation… I’m in twitter to get to know people, not just to increase my numbers…

  2. I’m glad I’m not alone in feeling lost about tweeting and such. I will check out your references, because it almost seems overwhelming that something supposedly simple is so dominating.
