Hey Donna,

It’s your lens ~ I wouldn’t call that bad sport at all. If you go into your guestbook module there’s an option to “strip html” if you do that they won’t be able to leave html links ~ you can also opt in that area to have to approve comments before they post as well.

My first lens is starting to get some traffic, but I have a question.

Somebody visited my lens and left a comment. It was a nice comment, but the person used anchor text making a link to their own review website for different brands of my product.

I can’t get Squidoo to ‘strip’ the code after it was posted, and I didn’t approve the post. It posted w/o my approval. Am I being a bad sport if I delete the comment? I think it was very tacky for someone to leave the comment with the link.

I’d appreciate your take on this…thanks!

Thank you Jackie!. The tutorials that you have written over the last few weeks have been fantastic. I bought OWM a while ago, but some of the info was a little over my head. Your posts have been so detailed and concise. And with the Christmas Cash Blueprint, it’s much easier and less daunting to start with one specific product than starting a whole campaign. Now I know exactly what to do and have been able to get my first lens published. You rock, girlfriend.

Where can I find the 8-minute article writer?

When you see the choose output there’s two choices under it text and copy to clipboard. Here’s what mine looks like: http://screencast.com/t/gpObDOjZUxT

click the text one and it will create a text doc of the article. This is best because sometimes word puts crazy code in the background and messes up your article when you put it in a directory.

Hi Jackie,

First I’d like to say thanks, you’ve been a blessing.

Second, I have a question about the 8 minute article writer. I’ve used it a couple of times, it helps me keep my thoughts orginized. But each time I click the “next” button to generate the article I’m told to “please click on output button”.

For the life of me I can’t find any output format button. Could you tell me where I might find this button?

I’m curious to see what the generated article looks like. So far I’ve just copied what I’ve written in all the little boxes and pasted them into microsoft word.

If you could help me find the output format button I’d really appreciate it.

What a timely post because I “committed” to myself that I am finally going to tackle my own lens! So, with this post and your MindMap, it should be really easy! I sure hope so…
