Happy New Year!! Sorry I missed you all yesterday. I started a post a few times and it just wouldn’t come out!!

I’ve been percolating. You see, this is it. This is the year. This is my financial break out year. I can feel it.

Over that last few years I have become very adept at [tag]driving traffic[/tag], [tag]blogging[/tag],[tag] building Squidoo lenses[/tag] and many other things. These are all money making skills, so why am I not making the kind of money I figured I would be making by this point?

I realized over the last week all of those skills are great, but if you haven’t chosen the right keywords, aren’t targeting the right market, with the right product then they mean nothing.

It appears I learned internet marketing backwards. I learned all the later stuff and forgot to learn ~ didn’t even know I needed to learn about the basics.

When I talk about the basics I mean

• [tag]choosing a good niche[/tag]
• [tag]choosing keywords [/tag]wisely
• [tag]finding a hungry market [/tag]within that niche
• [tag]choosing the right product[/tag] to fill their needs

All of this takes what they call [tag]Market Research[/tag]. It’s not hard, although it can be a little confusing at times, but it is essential.

I can only imagine where I would be now if I hadn’t just been choosing products and niches willy nilly because they sounded interesting.

Over the next, I don’t know, however long it takes I am going to be going over how to do these basics. How to find choose a niche, see if there are “hungry” people in it, whether they are willing to spend money on things, what products you should choose, and so much more.

I am going to bring you some of my new understanding of these things, and I have to tell you I am learning it all at[tag] Wealthy Affiliate. [/tag] I finally decided to stop buying bad ebooks ~ no matter how cheap ~ and just join. Start learning from people who are really making it big, instead of just trying to hock bad ebooks.

The learning has been immense. Even in the first couple days I have learned things that have changed entire campaigns for the better. I’m done spending all my time with people looking for the answers for free. I’m spending my time with the million dollar earners in this industry. Plus the price of admission is much less than I spend on bad ebooks every month.
