    you site has a lot of affiliate links on it, the search engines can easily identify it as being a ’sales site’ this, in turn, can prevent you from ranking highly. Cloaking your links prevents the search engines from identifying you as a sales site.

    that may be true, but search traffic is not the only way I get my traffic. :)
