I totally agree with having a PLR. You need someone that can write great articles and reports and such inside of your niche. If you can get one that is devoted to just you you will usually get better quality work.

Weaver looks great and I think you’ve done a great job by bringing it to everyone’s attention, Jackie! When I first started out (which, granted, wasn’t that long ago,) I got sucked in and thought that only the best themes were available once you paid for them. The original design for my site – http://www.bikiniwaxvideo.org – was an ‘Elegant Themes’ design and, although it was nice to look at, the layout was an ABSOLUTE nightmare! Things wouldn’t go where you wanted and SEO was near-impossible.

After a friend pointed me in the right direction I realised there was a sea of FREE themes out there that more than lived up to my highest expectations. The theme I’m currently using is a paid one by the biggest piece of advice I give to new bloggers is be sure to save your $$ when you are picking a theme unless you need one with a cart etc because the free ones that are available are certainly just as good!

I have set up a social media element for my site on both Facebook and Twitter and have had a friend tell me about putting those buttons on my blog using HTML. I put them on my site – http://www.bikiniwaxvideo.org – but had real trouble because I couldn’t position them where I wanted them to go and they just jumped around the screen causes all sorts of issues. Long story short I had to get rid of them but I feel not having them there are really hurting my social media efforts. Perhaps you’ve given me the solution I’ve been looking for!

I haven’t been steered wrong by you yet, Jackie, so I’ll be looking to install this plugin. I have a background in beauty therapy and I apply that education to all of the posts that I write on my blog – http://www.bikiniwaxvideo.org – but I’m most excited about the idea of having relevant articles popping up on the side so I can be inspired with some new information and possibly even topics for my upcoming posts.

I’m not trying to be a goodie-too-shoes or anything like that here but I don’t think it is right to get information by black hat technqiues in the form or torrents and so on. I’m aware that black hat is appealing to many because it promises ‘faster’ results but from what I can tell it involves a lot of piracy and using information and software that hasn’t been paid for.

I know there is probably a ‘grey area’ that a lot of people like to live in but for the site the I run – http://www.bikiniwaxvideo.org – I prefer only to do things ‘white hat.’ The reason being is a) I don’t like the idea of using programs that others have worked hard on and invested their time in (like so many products on Warrior Forum,) and b) Blackhat techniques tend to be spotted pretty quickly by Google and other search engines and sites using these techniques are punished.

Just my two cents, I suppose.

Hi Robyn
Great post … yesterday I applied all your tips to a PLR post. …http://www.beacopywriter1.com/?p=204
I made extensive changes to the PLR text and finished up with a very long post (almost 1500 words) with a SEOPressor rating of 96.67%.
However, I do have a query. I’m possibly a slow worker, but all up I spent over 4 hours doing the post. Now I’m saying to myself “should I spend less time so I can do more posts?”
Please let me know what you think.
