Commission Ritual ~ Your Best Bet For Micro Niche Sites
Mar 01
Last week I asked people what they wanted to learn next. I got a lot of responses for how to build micro niche sites. I’m always telling you to pick things to write about/do sites about that interest you. I’m going to have to take my own advice on this one.
Here’s my deal.
I totally get micro niche sites, why they work, how they work, how to build them and all that, but they just aren’t for me. I can’t get past buying a new domain for every single keyword I want to target. It just doesn’t seem like enough leveraging for me.
I’m not saying they don’t work ~ they do. There are plenty of people making them work, and making plenty of money doing them, I’m just not one of them.
Instead of me half heartedly trying to teach you how to make micro niche sites I’m going to encourage you to go to a teacher who is as enthusiastic, passionate and accomplished in this area as I am in others.
I’m going to suggest you get Commission Ritual.
This product is done by Brian Johnson. He is currently making scads of money creating these micro niche sites. He walks you through each and every step of creating these micro niche sites, both in pdf and video format.
The product is set up very well, and is very organized. You get a lot of things with this package so let’s start at the beginning.
1. PDF ~ this is the main guide where he explains the whole concept, the theory behind them, how to research them, how to build them, how to promote them. Everything is in here.
2. The site ~ on the site he has created videos for every piece of the puzzle. They follow along with the pdf, so each piece of the pdf has a video that goes with it to not explain the piece ~ but show you exactly how it works. He gives plenty of real life examples so you can see how it works in real life. This is not a bunch of theory. He gives you real sites that are making money to learn from.
3. Extras: there are a few extra pdfs in the pack. One shows you different words you can use to target buying keywords for your sites. One is an update he did recently called the 3 hour profit plan. He goes through and gives you an exact method of how to do this quickly and consistently. There is a desktop reference that is fantastic. It’s like an outline of the process, so you can easily follow along step by step without having to dig back through the books and videos.
4. Makes it easy. There are certain pages every site will have ~ the about/disclaimer etc pages. He has given you awesome templates you can use to copy/paste right into your site. Just make some simple adjustments (change the names to your site name) and you’ve got your pages done.
5. Super checklist to stay on track: One of the best things he gives you is a “site setup” checklist. This checklist will help you go from start to profit for each site, keeping all the information you need for every site all in one place. This checklist is thorough and done in a format you can fill out over and over again. (and he explains exactly how to do it ~ which is really nice) It covers everything from targeted keywords to how many links you’ve created and where. It’s not just a checklist either ~ he gives quick little instructions in it so you can easily remember what you’re doing and what information you need to be clear to move to the next step of the process.
4. Continual updates. Brian does a fantastic job of providing updates to the product, and new techniques he’s using to get ranked and make money. In fact, the most recent update was as recently as Feb. 3 of this year.
5. Forum. This used to be an additional charge for “inner circle” people, however, he has now opened it up to all of his customers. The forum is quite active and you can ask all kinds of questions and get answers pretty quickly.
Pros of Commission Ritual
Tons of content
Great step by step information
Excellent customer service
Ability to ask questions and get answers
A community to get support
Cons of Commission Ritual:
Lots and lots of video ~ if you have a slow computer or don’t learn well from video this will probably not be the best product for you. Although most of the videos are under 5 minutes ~ there are a LOT of videos.
Do I recommend Commission Ritual?
If you just wanna see what it is, you’re still debating on whether or not you want to do micro niche sites for real, you’re still jumping from thing 1 to thing 2 to thing 3 ~ then no. Keep your money in your pocket. I don’t want to see another great piece of content sitting on your hard drive collecting dust.
Have you chosen micro niche sites as the internet marketing strategy you’re going to focus on for at least the next 6 months?
If you can say yes to that question. I mean really YES. Then I absolutely recommend this product. There’s nothing better out there to teach you how to build and profit from micro niche sites.
Have you made a decision? Are you ready to build micro niche sites? Then get started with Commission Ritual. (I bet you can have your first site up and running today!)
I can’t wait to hear how you do! Please come back and tell me!!

So would a micro niche be a site promoting one product to a specific demographic, like age or gender?
A micro niche site actually targets one specific keyword, which promotes one single product.
ex. fairy costumes, indoor cat trees etc. It’s one very specific kw, generally product related.

Jackie,
I have to admit that I have a little bit of ADD when it comes to IM so I really like doing Micro Niches. I do not buy a new domain for everything because I am never sure if it’s worth the investment, but for those of us who like to jump back and forth between things, having a lot of sites is just perfect.
I really love your integrity and your blog.
Thank you,
B

For one or two page micro niche sites the point is to have your domain name be your exact keyword, so no I wouldn’t recommend using subdomains. With that being said ~ I have done quite a few larger niche sites on subdomains and they have done well enough.

Good to know, thanks for the clarification.

I meant to ask…what do you think of sub-domains instead of individual domains, do these ever work for niche sites?

Excellent Jackie, I’ll be checking it out for sure, thanks!
I also sent you an email.

Julie ~ it’s 97 dollars but you are only billed 4.95 immediately for the first 7 days to take it for a test run then you’re billed the remaining amount 7 days later.

ha ha… no it doesn’t use any voodoo. I think he was trying to pull in the idea of ritual.

Jackie,
Commission Ritual looks interesting but I hope the header is not an indication of the method used – voodoo. I agree with Brenda that niche sites are the way to go for people with short attention spend. I will have to take on pass on this program at this time … too much learning, and spending, and not enough doing.
Jackie,
I am so excited that you are going to do this new series on authority sites. I am going to start a whole new niche and use your series to “experiment” while building it. I already have my one authority and will of course continue to build that, but this will be a true test for al the info you provide and I will be using wordpress rather than a static website, which is what I have now. Point being, that I am going to fillow your series step-by-step in order to “prove” that it works. So basically, I will be the guinea pig but so will you :O.
Speaking of step-by-step. I realize that not everyone who will be doing this will have already purchased, or be able to purchase Micro Niche Finder, but it would be incredibly awesome if in your series, you include keyword research both the free way you talk about with the google keyword adwords tool, but also with MNF. Just a suggestion and request, it would be a great testimonial for MNF for future sales and such.

I am so excited that you have chosen authority sites for your upcoming series Jackie! I can’t wait to sink my teeth into this!
I too have created micro niche sites in the past because I saw them as a way to prevent boredom by setting sites up quickly, building a few links and then moving on ~ but this type of business model can be a tough one. I quickly found that my boredom wasn’t cured and building several sites only lead to frustration, overwhelm and money spent.
Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us Jackie! Cheers.
funny you called it that ~ that’s what it’s labeled on my computer lol. It’s definitely a great model for some people, that’s why I wanted people to have a good resource to use if they wanted to do it.

Sorry…I mean Commission Ritual!
Told you I was helter-skelter. LOL

Hi Jackie,
Sorry you didn’t choose the micro niche sites for your next project but I admire your integrity.
I think micro niche sites are great for people who can’t concentrate on one topic for too long. Create the sites, write some articles and leave them alone. They will grow on their own over time.
I have been a little helter-skelter with my IM and take solace in knowing I can find great keywords in just about any niche, do some research on the topic and get ‘er done before moving on to the next.
Thanks for the review of Commission Blueprint!
Brenda

I am a total Commission Ritual fan. I started back in the late summer, had to put it on hold during the Fall months due to my other business and then picked it back up in January. This biz is perfect for me. I do get bored easily with a website but I enjoy the variety of creating lots of different websites and learning about things and products that I previously knew little about.
One tip I found. You don’t neccessarily have to know alot about the niche you are writing about but you do need to have some interest in it or it will be a boring chore. I picked a few power tool type of niches cos the keyword stats looked great but I hate writing for those sites!
My biggest challenge has been to keep all the details for multiple sites organized and creating a schedule for building backlinks, site maintenance, etc.

Cathy – I’m thinking that I may be a micro-niche person too. Maybe the micro-niche is the perfect internet money maker for ADHD people like me

That’s good advice, Jackie, and good on you for following your own good advice.
I hope your Authority Sites discussion will include how one might use Micro Niche Finder (a product you’ve endorsed and sold in the past) as a tool for making the Authority Site building process easier and more productive. I look forward to it!
Thank you Jackie. This post has woke me up to think what i want to do.
Is niche marketing my way or is there other thing i want to do.
I will update my decision soon

Jackie,
Thank you for the excellent and balanced review of Commission Ritual. I trust your insight and perspective on the various IM products available.
I really look forward to your next series on authority sites. I originally started out doing niche sites, but my next project will be an authority site. After building a few micro niche sites and learning about different business models, I realize I prefer to focus on one or two larger sites, versus bunch of micro niche sites. It’s a much better model for work style.
Thank you again for the excellent information.
Best,
Amber
I think the biggest problem I have with microniche building is that I get bored with a topic and then forget about it. The microniche idea is setup for distraction …. all those little sites doing different things, my brain can’t help but be distracted by it all!

Thanks Jackie! I’m not quite sure how I feel about which type of niche blogging I prefer yet. I’m still such a baby-marketer and I’ll probably need some time to determine this but I absolutely appreciate the resource!
Looking forward to your next series!
