Last time I wrote about managing the million dollar guru launch and how to not get sucked in to the next big thing. It is so easy to get sucked in. I must admit I have fallen victim to the well written guru email and sales page in my day. The next day shaking my head wondering what the heck have I just done?

I think each time I bought another ebook I was looking for something. I was looking for a system ~ a plan ~ a step by step process I could use to start making money online.

None of the ebooks I bought ever provided me with this system I was searching for. Instead I just got more and more information that sent me spinning in another direction. When you keep moving in different directions it’s impossible to get to your destination (or it’s at least going to take you 10 times longer to get there).

When I decided to take a trip with my husband to Sedona, Arizona we decided on a [tag-tec]plan of action[/tag-tec]. We decided which route we were going to take, whether it would be quicker or more fun to take the highways or the biways. We decided before we even packed the car just how we were going to get there.

Along the way we saw some roads that looked like they might be faster than the plan we had decided on. However, we stuck to our plan ~ we didn’t know if there would be construction, or lots of towns along the way to slow us down, so we just stuck to the plan.

This is a “normal” course of action when taking a trip ~ but it is rare to find an internet marketer who has this kind of plan.

When you are swayed by guru emails and the next best thing it is nearly impossible to follow through with one thing long enough to see success.

Do you have an [tag-ice]Affiliate Marketing Strategy[/tag-ice]? Do you know what actions you need to take each day to start seeing your paypal account start moving in the upward direction?

I think it is even more important for [tag-tec]work at home moms[/tag-tec] to have an internet marketing strategy. It is easy to get distracted with the kids, animals, phone calls when you work from home, not having a concrete plan to get back to can make it even tougher to get back to productive activities after interruptions.

Let’s say you have an internet marketing strategy of 10 steps. You know you need to get all 10 steps done every other day. You are on step 4 ~ now it’s lunch time, make lunch ~ fight with your toddler about eating the lunch (lol), now it’s nap time ~ fight with your toddler about going to sleep (lol). Here it is 3 hours later and it’s time to get back to work.

Looking at your internet marketing strategy you can easily jump back into your activities right where you left off and know you will be moving directly toward your destination.
