I mentioned last time how important it is to have A MAP ~ Affiliate marketing action plan ~ It’s really imperative that you decide on a course of action and then follow that course to completion. Once you have finished all the steps in your plan you can go back and duplicate your efforts.

By duplicating your efforts you are setting yourself up to have more than one stream of income coming in to you each and every month.

I recently had to stop and think about my online efforts and activities. I really looked at what was working and what was NOT. Where was my money coming from ~ where was it NOT coming from? Was I spending most of my time in the activities that ARE making money or am I lollygagging around and focusing on non income producing activities.

When you look at those pieces of the puzzle you can begin to come up with an action plan. What I realized was a large portion of my income comes from Squidoo. In fact, I consistently have money coming in from my Squidoo lenses. Some of them bring in a pretty substantial affiliate income.
When I looked at my activities I realized I am NOT spending most of my time working on building new lenses. In fact I hadn’t been spending much time there at all. WHY??? Why would I not be spending time and effort doing what is already working? I don’t know!

It’s that DAMN next biggest thing.

I implore you to look at what you are doing ~ what is already making you money? Even if it’s only a frickin’ dime. Get over thinking it’s “not enough” If it’s bringing in money it can be built on. What’s making you money? Once you’ve looked at where your money’s coming from you have a good idea of where your time and effort need to be going.

Do you have a squidoo lens that is making 50 dollars a month in affiliate commission? Then why would you spend all your time and effort trying to figure out how to work craigslist? Keep working with squidoo. Think about it if you had 10 other lenses that were making 50 bucks a month you’d be pulling in 500 bucks a month! That may not seem like “enough” but what if you learned more about squidoo ~ tweaked your lenses a little ~ and they started making 100 dollars a month ~ that would pump you up to 1000 dollars a month.

You obviously already know how to “do” squidoo. So DO it. Even if you are only making 6 dollars a month from your squidoo profit sharing, and that’s your only income, build more lenses so you can get more of the profit share.

I’m NOT saying go do squidoo. (although it is a very good option) I’m saying DO what makes YOU money. If you are making money from articles or US Free Ads, or Craigslist, or Ebay. GREAT. Keep doing that.

Stop jumping around trying to find the magic pill that’s going to make you a millionaire overnight. It’s just NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! Sorry to break it to you, but if you continue to work what you know you will get there.

Once you feel like you have a good income stream coming in from one source, then you can look at something else and start a whole other system. But don’t jump around until you feel comfortable with what you have coming in. If you jump around you will find yourself spinning, getting dizzy and not adding any money to your bank account.

Ok ~ rant over for the day. I have to go vacuum up the entire tupperware container of cereal Hanna just dumped on the ground.

I’m not so sure if these would actually produce that much money so quickly, but what I do think is there are some really good ideas to build a system around. It’s a well written site and should give you some good ideas. It’s completely free, not even an opt-in required.
