Once you have created the image you need to save it with the same name as the current header image. (which is generally header.jpg) You can find this in your hosting area under public.html ~ wp content ~ themes, You should see a folder that says images. This is where your header image will be. Delete the current header image, and then upload the new one. Make sure it is the SAME EXACT NAME. If it uploads with an extra jpg at the end you can click on it and on the right hand side will be a link that says rename file, then just rename it exactly the same as the old header file. I know that I struggle with wanting the site to look PERFECT but that can be fixed later.. but picking a high quality theme like this, adding a relevant header, and then putting content first- you really can't go wrong.
