You can do either. Test things out. As I’ve said over and over there is no “right” way to do this. Look at the numbers on the list and see if they fit for a lens ~ if they do then go for it, if they don’t then dig a little deeper. Also remember that other people have bought this list, so if you decide to dig deeper you will also have keywords other people don’t have. Either way take some chances throw yourself out there and try it. The only way you are truly going to learn what works and what doesn’t is by doing it ~ failing and succeeding, many times for each and then you will get a feel for it.

Thank You, I was just thinking though that if I used “aviation hand tools” (example) isn’t this still to broad for a lens, shouldn’t it be more like specific types of aviation hand tools?

it will work for either. It was created as a list of keyword for a blog but they will work for lenses as well.

I just purchased your HandTools Keyword list and I wanted to know if this list is best for a blog or just building individual lenses for the different keywords?

Yes you would want to keep it generally about dog care. This blog is not going to be an ongoing forever blog though ~ you’ll want to come up with a list of keywords ~ and do posts on those keywords. Once you’ve gone through the list (and some other stuff) you can move on to another project.

That is the big difference between a niche blog and a blog like this one ~ a niche blog is finite ~ there will be a finish line ~ whereas this blog will go on forever (HA). However ~ I bet if you put your imagination in it there are a lot more “dog care” keywords than you think there are.

It’s Jan 2 today down here in Tasmania – guess you’re still celebrating New Years Day, so happy New Year to you and all your followers.
I loved your Post on ‘expectations’ and have made major amendments to mine!
Today’s Subject. I guess I don’t yet totally understand the structure of a niche blog. I’ll probably understand far more when I’ve been thru all the refererences you’ve given us. But my basic query is this. Supposing my blog is about ‘Easy Dog Care’. Do all of my keywords and initial and on-going Posts need to be, in effect, sub-subjects related to ‘Dog Care’? My assumption was that they’d would.
If this is the case it would only take a relatively short time to run out of Post topics. Sorry if I sound a bit dense from time to time.

Other than limitations on plugins etc there’s really no problem with that. Your content creation and organizational stuff will be the same. Good luck, bliss and blessings for the new year!
