Today’s my birthday, I have a great idea for a post, but I need to pull some things together for it first. We’ll be back to our regularly scheduled programming on Monday.
Anyway ~ Last week sometime I received an email with this free report in it. It is seriously one of the BEST reports I’ve read on how to get started with internet marketing, and it was FREE!! Imagine.
It walks you through everything you need to know to create an income online.
** Warning ** If you are already in the process of doing something that is working ~ do not veer your path. Stay on track and keep taking action. **
If you’re still struggling to get started or not sure what direction you should take this is an excellent place to get started.
There are a few affiliate links in the ebook (which aren’t mine btw), but they aren’t mandatory.
Take some time over the weekend to read through it and get ready to take action!!
How to Make 1000 a Month Online
I hope you enjoy the book ~ I’m off to have a lovely day for my birthday.

To do a subdomain redirect you get your affiliate link ~ JUST the url http://whatever ~ not the CODE ~ no href.
You go to your hosting company and find the subdomain folder ~ you then create a new subdomain ~ use the name of the product or something related.
Once the subdomain is created you then go back and click the “redirect” link. When you get to that page you then put your affiliate link in the space available and click ok ~ so it will then redirect that subdomain to your aff link.
ie. http://moveforward.internetmarketingformommies.com (goes to What’s Holding You Back book)
For the plugin you grab your affiliate url ~ just the url, no code.
Go to the plugin settings area where you can add a new url.
You create a name for the link ~ so it will be http://www.internetmarketingformommies.com/ the part you make up will go after the /
I could choose /moveforward or /go/moveforward either on will be fine. In the second space on that line you then add your affiliate link and click ok. This will redirect that url to your domain.
when you use it in your post you only need to use whatever you chose after the / in the url field.
So if I was filling out the url field (after I’ve highlighted and clicked the anchor icon) I would fill in /moveforward as the url. You don’t add the whole site, just the part after the /.
That should work.
Hope that helps.
Do you have directions on your site about how to do either the subdomain redirect or using Simple Link Cloaker. I have Simple Link Cloaker installed but I must be doing something wrong, because everytime I try to use it I get an Internal 500 error and Hostgator has to reset it for me. I must not be doing something right… but I can’t figure it out.

Jackie — I have searched your site and I can’t find my answer – do you cloak your affiliate links in your blogposts? If so, how? If not, why not? Just curious.
MoneyMom (Jane)
I do ~ I usually use subdomain redirects for mine that way I can use them wherever ~ like squidoo. But I also have the simple link cloaker plugin installed and use that once in a while as well.
