check out the “squid don’t” list and stay away from those topics. They have really cracked down on the rules, and you’ve got to follow them or they won’t approve your lenses. There’s just no getting around it, you follow the rules or they don’t let you play.

Great post, do you have any tips for getting your lenses approved? I’ve been having a problem recently with mine not being accepted by triggering spam signals.

Squidutils ~ and any backlink checker won’t show you all the links you’ve got pointing to your site. Just keep building links and you’ll get there. Congrats on getting 7 lenses done!!

Yet another most informative post from you, Have started to get out RSS feeds to my now 7 lenses. I have been into Squidutils and find that I have no backlinks. There’s work to be done.

I tried setting up RSS one time and I got confused, boggled. This helped quite a bit.

a backlink is simply a link from one place that points to your site. You just created a backlink by leaving this comment. You can create links to your site… no matter what the site. If you’d like more help with backlinking you might want to check out http://www.backlinking101.com
