It's not about saving the lens as a draft ~ but you have to save the module. If you are logged into your Amazon associates account you should see the grey bar. the chain ~ well that depends on where you are. If you are in most squidoo modules (other than the intro module) you won't see them ~ you'll have to use code. If you are in a text editor ~ there are a bunch of icons and stuff at the top of your page then you look for the chain and click it. Then you enter the url that means just start with the http:// part of your link and it will make the link for you. Let me know if that helps. You have to be an amazon associate to see the grey bar.
