This was a great post! I just switched form aweber to get response and am looking forward to the new life. Aweber was having a lot of issues. Emails weren’t getting delivered. Running a business that depends on this, makes this absolutely unforgivable. So far so good! Anyways, thanks again for a quality and descriptive post.

Good post on using autoresponders and setting them up. I would suggest everyone use a paid autoresponder, such as Aweber.

My sister has had some bad experiences using free and ones hosted on someone elses site. She lost several thousand subscribers when things started glitching. It is not worth it.

The two that I recommend are like that yes. You go to getresponse.com or aweber.com and log in to their site and do everything from there. There are autoresponders you can download and use from your desktop but I don’t recommend them because if you get spam complaints ~ and everyone does ~ it could cause a problem with your ISP.

These autoresponders reside on the web and you just log in to use them, right? There’s nothing you have to download and keep on your computer to make it work?

Just an FYI from an Aweber user – while the terms and positions may be a little different for some, they have pretty much the same basic features.
