How to Use Unique Article Wizard to Add Unique Content To Your Blog

uniquearticlewizardWell you’ve been asking so here it is. Today I’m going to show you how to use Unique Article Wizard to put free unique content on your blog. Before we get into the nuts and bolts let’s talk about when and why this might be a good idea, and when it’s NOT a good idea.

When is it a good time to use UAW for free content?

When deciding whether or not to use unique content from UAW you need to think about the PURPOSE of the blog you’re getting ready to put that content on.  If it is just a linking blog then go for it. Relevant unique content can only make it better.

If you’re creating an article directory site ~ this would be a GREAT way to populate your directory.

When is it a BAD idea to use UAW to create content?

If this is a money blog ~ do NOT use unique content from UAW. All of the articles will come to your blog with links in them ~ those links will point to other people’s affiliate links ~ you do not want other people’s links on a money site ~ you just want YOUR links on it.

So now we are going forward with the assumption you are working on a linking blog for this task. (A blog whose sole purpose is to give you quality links back to your “money” page)

Step 1.

Get an email address for your blog. If you are using Blogger it’s pretty simple. Just go to the settings area, and then click the “email & mobile” tab. This will take you to a place where you can create an email address for this blog. It doesn’t matter what it is ~ just make it up, no one will be sending email to this address except  for UAW.

This video will show you the process of creating an email address for your blogger blog.

Step 2.

Go to UAW and log in ~ you may have to create an account if you don’t have one. Go to the main page and click the “blogger login” link at the very bottom of the page. Now don’t freak out ~ just because you’re going to the sales page doesn’t mean you have to pay. This is a free service they offer.

Step 3.

Once you get to the blogger’s area you will see a link to receive articles to a new email address. This is what you click and then fill in the information about the blog you want the articles to go to. It’s basic stuff, the email address you just created, the name, url etc. This is ALL information regarding the BLOG you want the articles to go to.

This video will walk you through that part:

Once you’ve filled in all your blog information you will need to select keywords. These keywords will let UAW know what articles to send to your blog. Make sure you are specific and relevant when you choose the keywords. If you are working on a really tight niche you will probably have to add your own keywords in the box on the right hand side. You want to get articles that are relevant, but just remember if you go too tight other people may not be writing articles on that topic. So if you are working on your Christmas Cash lenses you might choose product reviews, or you can type in keywords related to gifts or holidays ~ all of those things will be relevant to the gift lenses you want to link to from this blog.

Once you’ve chosen your keywords and filled in the whole page make sure you click update and test. Before the test post will be able to be sent you will have to click the confirm link from UAW. This will be sent to your blog, and since you’ve chosen post directly for your email address it will just show up as a blog post. It can take a little bit of time for this post to get to your blog ~ so be patient if it’s not there immediately.

Once the post is there just click the confirmation link ~ it will say it’s a confirmation link right there in the post. You can then go into your edit posts area and delete that post. You don’t need/want it to stay on your blog.

Once you’ve confirmed the email address works you will recieve your test post ~ you’ll again see it appear on your blog just like a regular blog post. It will say something to the affect of  this is a test post from UAW ~ once you know the service is working (and you will know once you get the test message) you can go into the edit posts section again and delete that post.

Here’s a video showing this last piece:

Once you have that finished you should begin receiving articles from UAW. Remember though, that it can only send you articles when someone writes an article where they use keywords in their articles you’ve chosen to go to your blog. If you don’t receive articles immediately don’t panic. Just wait a day or two and see what happens. If you still haven’t received any articles in a couple days go back into your account at UAW and add some more keywords, or make your keywords a little broader so you’re more likely to match up your keywords with keywords UAW authors are using.

This looks complex but it’s really just following the directions as laid out at UAW ~ there is an entire page of directions there so you might also use those if you get stuck. (It uses images instead of video ~ so if you don’t like video check out that link instead) If you get really stuck ask questions in the comments section and I’ll do my best to help you get through it.

Let’s Review the Basic steps:

1. Create an email address for your blogger blog.

2. Go to UAW ~ fill in blog information including email address, name, url, keywords etc.

3. Click update and test.

4. Click the confirmation link in the first post that will be sent to your blog.

5. Delete that post.

6. Check out the test post to make sure it’s working all right.(this will be the next post posted directly to your blog)

7. Delete the test post.

8. Add a post or two in case it takes a while for UAW to send you posts.

9. Add a “link list” gadget to your sidebar.

10. Link to your “money” pages using the link list gadget.

Keep writing, Jackie! This article is extremely well-written, informative and helpful. I'm sure a lot of newbies in the blogging world have found your blog insightful.

Well Jackie, not sure how I missed this post the first time around!! But I'm so glad I found it. I did find the sign up process a bit confusing but after watching your videos for the second time it fell into place for me. All seems to be working fine and looking forward to seeing what shows up now. Thanks for the info and will be setting it up on my other bloggers once I see it in action.
Kat

Thanks for such an informative article, Jackie. I'll be coming back to your blog often for more tips. I have been planning to start a personal blog for the longest time but have never gotten around to even doing the first steps. I know it takes much effort and skill. I'm worried that I might not be able to put in as much time as I should. Oh well.

Why start a personal blog, when you could add a blog to that gorgeous photography website of yours? Then people would be able to get to know you as a photographer. It would help them know/like/trust you before hiring you, as well as providing the search engines with some content to send people your way. :)

Ok I did go to the link you have in this post and went to the bottom of the page and clicked on "blogger login"
and all I got was a page to to pay $67.00 and subscribe with that payment. I tried clicking on everything I could find but I could not find anywhere to signup for anything free.

Please help.

Sincerely
Chris Porter

Chris ~ I went to uaw, clicked blogger login, hit the "receive articles" tab, and then clicked the help option. It sent me to this page: http://www.uniquearticlewizard.com/blogspot_setup....

On that page is a link to go directly to setting up your blogger account.

Which is here: http://www.uniquearticlewizard.com/email_plugin.ht...

Sometimes you just have to click around until you find what you're looking for. I'll try to go back in and update this post with that link.

In fact, in the paragraph of this post before "review the basic steps" is that exact link ~ with the anchor text: "there is an entire page of directions". :)

Hi Jackie,

I have subscribed to 1waylinks.net from a previous rec. from one of your previous posts "Building Links with Article Marketing" and in doing so it is a requirement to allow random posting on my blog by other subscribers to 1waylinks. This is a money site for me and as you stated above that I should not be doing this. So my question is "Do you think I should remove my money site from allowing the random posts?"
I am responding to this statement you made above in this post "If this is a money blog ~ do NOT use unique content from UAW. All of the articles will come to your blog with links in them ~ those links will point to other people’s affiliate links ~ you do not want other people’s links on a money site ~ you just want YOUR links on it."

Thank you very much for all you effort.
Sincerely
Chris Porter

YES, do not allow random posts on your money site. Set up a new site specific for those posts to go to.

Ok this is not working,I did all the steps and signed up now when I try to sign in it says wrong user or password but when I tryed to do it again it said allready in use, I can't use the help section because I have to sign in for that.

This great information thank you once again, this will make my life a little easier.

Never mind. Its working now. Thanks anyway :)

I must be missing something, because it seems to me that there is no way to bypass the payment they are requesting!

I use UAW on all my wordpress sites... one of the best plugins available. It makes my life SO MUCH EASIER. I recommend this plugin to everyone - great directions on how to get started.

I'm definitely going to use this. There's not enuf hours in the day for me to come up with unique content. My blogs are pretty bad since i started my Squidoo Xmas Cash Challenge this summer :)

yes Jon, it probably should, but it's sometimes hard to find the steps when you're already subscribed. Just go through the last link I gave you.

I've used the UAW Wizard with great results. As you mentioned, be VERY specific and relevant when choosing the keywords. I made the mistake of being too general (ex: "party" on a party planning blog) and ended up with articles that were a very bad fit for by blog. Best of luck to everyone.

You're right Jackie, this technique actually does work very well on sites that are for your own link-building purposes. You don't have to invest any of your time submitting posts while the site just sits there giving link juice to your money site.

Remember, your purpose on your linking site isn't to send traffic to your money site. It's purpose is to provide link juice to your money site. So, it doesn't matter if other people's links are on your site within their articles.

It's a beautiful relationship.

Peggy

I went to the bottom of the page and it said webmasters want free content? :) Here's the instructions. http://www.uniquearticlewizard.com/email_plugin.ht...

Wouldn't this be a great way to get lots of traffic to a an adsense blog?

You would still have to drive traffic. Fresh content alone will not rank you in the search engines and get you traffic.

Good and instant results! If this is true then nothing like this.I would urge all to go through this once and then try this out.Seems to be very good.

Thanks Jackie, as usual I'm late but I have a few blogs just sitting there, I think I will do this with them.

1. Decide what you want. Do you want them to come to your email? Do you want them to go to a blogger blog?
2. Start the process over and do what needs to be done to make that happen.

yes but it is not an email address that I have. Nor do I have a blog with the email address that I created setting up UAW my blogger address is different that the one I created to set up UAW

I don't know I haven't done that ~ I'd say try it and see. Didn't you say you already set it up to go to an email address?

So can I set it up to come to my gmail address?

If you set it up for the articles to come to your email address you can put them wherever you want. You can just copy/paste the articles from your email into any blog. Just make sure you keep the resource box and all that in tact.

I thought that I had this done but I did not. I created an email address that is different than my blog address. But the email address I created to recieve the articles does not exist. I only did that to set up the article wizzard account. So my question is where will the articles go. If they go to the email address I created then do I have to start another blog to recieve those emails?

Great, then maybe you'd like to share with the class? As I've always said, my way is certainly not the only way ~ just what I know.

Found an easier way to do it that's not explained here

so what do I do when I am on the sales page. If it is free than why are they asking you to pay? I think MJ had the same problem on November 27th above on the blog.

This service does not seem to be free. Wherever you click you are asked to pay. You said that you had found a way around this but you never explained what it was

Thanks Jackie all set u. fyi I could not get that link from the instructions that you sent

not sure what you mean Jon, the sign up page is right there on that link: http://www.uniquearticlewizard.com/email_plugin.ht... (scroll down a little you'll see a sign up form) If you want to know how to set up your blogger blog to get the articles there is a link right there that takes you through a complete tutorial.

All I did to find it was go to the unique article wizard page. At the bottom is a link that says "webmasters ~ receive free content" or something similar. I clicked that link and it took me to the sign up page. Sometimes you just have to poke around until you find what you're looking for.

Jackie Your step 2 says to click blogger login. Should it not say click the receive the free email button instead? Thats wher I got lost :-)

Not sure what the deal is. Your best bet is probably to send a help ticket through the help desk. That way they can see what's going on and help you. You can find it under the help tab at the top of the page.

When I fill out the information it asked me to submit a form of payment

Go to UAW and log in ~ you may have to create an account if you don’t have one. Go to the main page and click the “blogger login” link at the very bottom of the page. Now don’t freak out ~ just because you’re going to the sales page doesn’t mean you have to pay. This is a free service they offer.

-After I am directed to the sales page, what am I to do next, fill out the info or what? or how do I create a free account

Yes ~ your article doesn't even need to be on the same topic ~ just something related.

say your lens is about the ironman inversion table ~ you could write an article about curing back pain, or something like that ~ then you use your resource box to link to the best choice for curing back pain. You don't want your articles to compete with your lenses for your keywords. You might want to check out this post on product benefits again.

I have been using UAW for awhile now, with mixed results. In some cases, my spun articles in UAW have the same keyword in the article title as my squidoo lens, and those articles are ranking will above my lens. In some cases, I can't find my lens at all for the keyword, despite UAW having posted articles to hundreds of sites.

When using UAW, should the title of the articles use different titles (keywords) than the keyword title that is in the squidoo lens title?

You can use it for the Christmas cash blogs ~ using gifts/holidays as your keywords in UAW ~ that way you have posts related to what your are linking to. Then link to your lenses in the sidebar ~ or write posts linking to them whichever you prefer.

Jackie,

I've been rereading these posts tonight and I have a question. Are you recommending that we use UAW on our Christmas Cash Blog that points to our lenses or not? I'm not sure if understood the above posts correctly?

Jane (MoneyMom)

You use the sidebar of the blog to add your links.

Wait a minute, I am confused. (not that that is new!)

First you say "If this is a money blog ~ do NOT use unique content from UAW."

then you go on with:
"So now we are going forward with the assumption you are working on a linking blog for this task. (A blog whose sole purpose is to give you quality links back to your “money” page)"

How does a linking blog with other peoples links link back to your money page?

I'm missing something here.

I tried it again and they still request payment info. ($67 a month... wow)Is there more than one blogger login link at the bottom of the sales page?

I don't mean to bother you with this and I do appreciate all that you've done. So I'll just move on.

MJ,
This is a free service they offer. You have to go to the bottom of the page and click the blogger login link and sign up there.

Tried to create an account at UAW but they asked for payment info. I'm not ready to pay a monthly fee to use this yet. I can't find the free sevice.

If I knew this would be a benefit I wouldn't mind paying for the service. But as of right now I have no idea if this is worth it or not.
