Internet marketing and inspiration? Do these really go together? At first glance it may seem they don’t, however, I have been doing a grand experiment this week ~ based on the encouragement of my EFT and personal growth Coach. The experiment was that I was only to do things when I was INSPIRED. wow.

This is a very interesting experiment and has been seriously thought provoking. It has also brought up a lot of beliefs I have that I didn’t really know about.  As you know ~ if you’ve been reading along for a bit ~ my theme for this year is consistency. So I have created a plan of action and try to do a piece of it every day.

This is not always inspired action, but it is action on money making steps. So the internal debate on taking steps and following inspiration has been pretty interesting this week. There has been a lot of tapping involved, let me tell you.

This week I have not followed my “plan”. I was feeling inspired to do a site on some higher paying keywords. The research part was fun and felt inspired. The writing about this topic I don’t give a rat’s A*$ about not so much. So following the experiment I let it go and did something that was feeling more inspired. I played on the Wii Fit, created a new Wii Fit Moms group at Twittermoms.  I tweeted more than usual. Updated my other blogs a bit. Did more blog surfing than I usually do and found an amazing new blog about How to Make Money Online with Adsense for Beginners ~ and I’m learning a TON there.

Then all of the sudden I felt inspired to find someone else to do this writing I don’t want to do. I had recently listened to Yaro Starak’s podcast interview where he talked about outsourcing. I put up an ad at Craigslist and put out some feelers in other places and before I knew it I had 3 people willing to write these articles for me at prices I could totally afford. YAY.

So even though I did not follow my plan exactly I did do things I was inspired to do and the plan is getting done anyway.

I have found myself getting a lot done, and having a good time doing it. It has been my experience when you do things from inspiration they don’t seem like work at all. Today’s warm spring like weather is inspiring me to get some lunch and go outside and work in the garden! Who knows. Maybe I’ll be inspired to do more work later. I guess we’ll see.
