Do you want more Myspace friend requests and to build your list at the same time?

    By Jackie | October 7, 2007

There are a number of ways to connect with other people at myspace. The first and most important one is requesting friendship. This means you go around and look at other people’s pages and when you find someone interesting, you click the button in their contact box that says “add” or something to that affect. This will send them an email in their myspace messaging that allows them to add you or deny you. Here’s the exciting part and where your vibrational marketing comes in. For them to decide whether they want to add or deny you they will go to your page to see who you are!!

Once they are at your page they will read about you and they will also see any ads that you have displayed on your page. If they are liking you and wanting to know more about what you are doing/selling they will click on your ad.

You have done and paid nothing for that traffic, except ask someone if they want to get to know you better.

Doing this all by hand can take a long time. I think it is really good to start out by doing it by hand though, you get a really good feel for myspace, and the people that you are interacting with. Once you’ve added some friends you can actually get some software to help you with the process of requesting friendship.

Let me just say this. When I first heard of the software to help me do this faster I felt like it was a really smarmy thing to do. It did not feel good to me at all. I put it off for quite a while and kept doing things by hand. I did that because vibrational marketing is not only about visibility, but about VIBRATION as well. If I felt badly about how I was getting friends that is not a vibration of abundance at all, and I’m sure nothing good would match that.

One day I once again went and looked at more software. I found Friend Blaster Pro had a free trial, so I downloaded it. It was really easy to use and completely self explanatory. It allowed me to search for people I had things in common with, and had many other features I thought were fun.

Then I decided to make a game out of. The first time, and now every time since, I made it into a Law of Attraction game. I set an intention around who I want to meet that day. I do a search and then hit the “gather friends” button in the software. Then I look through the people it found and see how closely they matched my intention. To my shock and awe, (I don’t know why?!) they match almost perfectly each and every time.

It was then that I decided I felt ok about using Friend Blaster Pro. Also, I thought the free trial was just for one time, but it turns out you can use it every day, however, you can only send out 50 requests each day. That also felt much better to me than sending out hundreds and hundreds of requests. I suppose what I am saying, is make sure whatever method you are using to acquire friends and begin relationships at myspace feels good to you!!

Now you have some friends. That’s the beginning of the fun at myspace. I will discuss ways to connect with your new myspace friends in my next few posts.
