Article Submitters ~ Unique Article Wizard vs. Article Marketer

If you want to receive organic traffic from search engines you sites have to rank at the top of Google for your desired keywords. This has always been my downfall. I find great keywords, with people searching for them, and low competition, but never have been able to get them to the top of the search engines to capitalize on that traffic.
Until I found out about article submission that is. Now I read Bum Marketing Method a long time ago, and what Travis is doing is quite different than what I found is necessary to push your site to the top using article marketing for backlinks.
Article marketing for backlinks involves submitting articles to not only ezinearticles.com but to many many places on the web, including article directories, forums and other sites that publish content. You can google article directory and get a list 6 miles long, and you can do it manually.
I’m trying to make money before Hanna goes to college, so I realized I am going to have to automate this process. I am going to have to get someone else to spend the time to submit my content to all these directories, while I work on other money making activities.
There are two big players in the game for article submission services. One is Unique Article Wizard, and the other is Article Marketer. They are both excellent services, and they both send your article to thousands of different places on the web.
They are similar but there are some serious differences.
One being price point, and the other being unique content.
Let’s compare and contrast what Article Marketer and Unique Article Wizard offer:

You can see here that there are some differences between the services. Unique article wizard allows you to have more than one pen name, and sends out a unique version of each article you submit. It costs 67 dollars each month, with no annual or lifetime subscription options.
Article Marketer sends out the same version of your article, it has human reviewers and is 89 dollars for 3 months. It also has options to subscribe annually as well as lifetime. If you are concerned about duplicate content issues, they provide a lengthy answer to that question on their website.
Either one of these article submission services will do you well. It is almost a must to have some sort of article submission service working for you. It’s hard enough to find time to write articles, but spending time submitting them yourself is not using your time as effectively as it could be.

I have just started using UAW and all I can say is that I am mightily impressed. At the moment I am doing all the article writing myself but i have plans to use MAX once I can afford to do so. If anyone if needs a recommendation – take it from me its worth a try. I have used SENuke and did not get half of results that I am now gettig from using UAW and UAW cost half the price!

I custom write all my articles for submission, get a nice 400-500 word article together then spend an hour or so setting it up for spin to get the maximum diversion of words and sentance structure, then i’ll limit it to about 10 spins, manually check it and then submit them.
I’ve had decent approval rates this way and find it better than spinning prewitten junk by other authors.

Jackie sorry if my information was incorrect where UAW post articles but the only backlinks in Google I have ever seen from UAW is from wordpress plugins with UAW plugin installed.
As for my site being sandboxed I agree any degree of link building for a new domain seems to get you in the Google sandbox, but when my site did come out all the UAW backlinks had disappeared from appearing in Google. I am talking about google here not yahoo or bing. This particular site I used as an experiment only used UAW for back links as I was testing several sites to see which promotional methods were best.
For me personally I now use the simple method write an article > put on my website > ezine articles > then Isnare. Seems to have the best effects for all my sites and even web directories still get me some pretty good backlinks.
I forgot to say the only place UAW submits articles to is wordpress blogs which has the UAW plugin installed for auto content to their site. Most of these sites have no value or PR so PR0 backlinks mainly. Better than nothing but is it worth $67 month?
Actually Matt, that’s not true at all. UAW submits to article directories as well as wordpress blogs ~ which is part of the benefit of UAW that you have different types of sites your articles are going to.

I use both article marketer and UAW. Article marketer takes forever to get any articles through as it is checked by humans it often gets declined the first time saying it sounds too much like an advert etc, so I got tired of this and re-submitting that I do not use as much and to be honest as the articles are all the same to the supposed 5500 directories about only 5 of them will be published in Google serps.
I started using UAW in Jan 2009 and at first results were good as I had created 1000 different bio boxes to go with each of the spun articles and many different anchor text for keywords I wanted to rank for (low competition keywords). And within a day or two I was on the front page of Google for those terms. I was flying high and out of nowhere I was sandboxed by Google for 3 months and all my keywords that I ranked dissappeared to search page 100+. I know it was the fault of UAW as this was the only method I had used on this particular site.
With UAW I think what had happened was that Google has somehow worked out that UAW wordpress plugin publishes on certain sites and and de-indexes those links. I have tried it since on other websites with no good results and if I do get incoming links from my articles they are deleted within a month by Google.
I now use Isnare which publishes to about 1200 article sites and costs $2 per articles no monthly fees. It seems to help as my new method that now works is:
Publish article on my own site, publish it on Ezinearticles manually and then to Isnare.
I know there are many different thoughts on this but any expert tell you this is the correct way to do it, and it works for me. Good luck everyone great post and its still alive after all this time.
If it was a new site being sandboxed likely had nothing to do with UAW, and more to do with it being a new site. Almost all new sites that are actively building links get sandboxed. Just part of the process.
After the 3 months was your site ranking again? I’d be curious to know.
I’ve had the same experience where I ranked well ~ it happens for everything, sites, squidoo lenses, then they bounce around, drop out, and then when they come back from the dead the rankings are the same if not better than before they got “sandboxed”. It’s really just part of the process.

UAW does not to my knowledge submit to EZA. I take one of the original articles (of the three) and submit it manually myself.
The articles are unique when created. Each article submitted by UAW is unique and is created as it is sent. You set this up by choosing in the submission process how many sites you want the article sent to daily. How many overall it is sent to is determined by the topic of the article and the categories you choose when submitting. (it should tell you approx how many it will go to overall as part of the submission process when you choose categories)
When you look at your articles each time you refresh it will give you a new version ~ you can just copy/paste it into somewhere else.
What you put in your resource box completely depends on the purpose of your article. Are you trying to rank in the search engines for a specific kw? If so then use your keywords in the resource box pointing the site/post you want to rank. If you are trying to build your brand then using your name would be appropriate.
Don’t worry about how often to use your keyword ~ write as though you are speaking to a friend and you will be fine. But yes, you want your keywords in the resource box in your link.
The answers from UAW will probably be very effective since they can show you image shots and video where I can not due to the confidentiality clause. (and they built it and know it inside and out)

Love the work you do to make may work a tad easier. I have been following your Christmas and Niche Blog Squidoo course and have found it very invaluable – also am with UAW through your link (so payback is good).
With UAW, do you know if they submit to Ezinearticles first, or are they just part of the process?
With original and the 2 versions, does this mean that every single article submitted from one article are all ‘unique’ and not duplicate?
Do you know how often UAW creates a new version of an article and submits it?
If I want to put one of the article versions on a blog or lens, etc. how do I access some of the new version UAW do?
I have read that one should not put a name in the Resource Box, as the information here should point to the keyword/product, not a person. What do you think?
One last question, UAW told me that there should be my keyword in the title, first paragraph and at the end – and no more. Should I put the keyword in the last article paragraph and then in the Resource Box? Also, is it a good idea to put a more long tail keyword 2 or 3 times in the article and then a shorter or completely different related keyword a couple of time?

I’m definitely an advocate of earn some money and then reinvest. If you’re looking for a way to build links without money check the backlinking section of the articles page ~ there’s plenty of ways to create links ~ UAW makes it easier and faster, but when you’ve got more time than money there are other options!

Ahh, I’m so tempted to jump onboard with UAW..most of what I’ve heard is so positive about it. In fact the only couple bad reviews I’ve heard have been here. Good to know the positives and the negatives though!
I think I’ll hang on until I have enough online “real-estate” to make it worth my while! Well back to work

I agre with Blossom that with UAW, the articles submitted are reviewed by real human. One of my article was declined due to grammar error.
@Winson You’re totally right. I’ve used your services for a while now and can see how powerful your theory is. It works like gangbusters!
They’ve made a lot of upgrades to UAW that makes it much easier to use.
Your results and how quickly they will happen completely depend on the keywords you are targeting. You will begin building links as soon as you send out your first article ~ but how many links you need to get to the rank you want depends on how competitive your keywords are.
You can send as many articles as you want every day/month so within a month you should be able to see just how effective it’s going to be for your websites. If you are doing niche sites, and don’t mind doing the writing I’d say it’s definitely worth the price.

Well, Winson’s response seemed promising. I was really starting to doubt UAW from the initial few comments. My question is this though… $67/month is quite a bit of money to invest. How immediate are the results? I run a number of websites and like the prospects of using it for backlink building. I am cautious though with the cost of it. I appreciate your response and info!!
First, thanks for the great review about the unique article wizard. I have great success with the UAW as well to generate massive backlinks to my website and getting them ranked on search engine.
Some update for Unique Article Wizard, they have upgraded their whole system to a more user-friendly and design-friendly interface which make it even easier to use the uaw submission.
There’s even page by page videos that show you exactly what to do as well.

I just got UAW. Their articles are reviewed by human. I tested them by sending articles with grammar errors and spelling mistakes. They sent it back to me asking me to correct the errors. Anyway I am going to start using them everyday. You might as well submit at least one or two articles a day if you are paying $67/month, right?

@rafsal Your links are already out there, your articles have been submitted, so nothing will happpen, you just wont’ be able to send out any more articles.
@ray sorry I missed your comment. The difference in using psuedonyms is simply if you are doing a bunch of different niches and you want to become known as an expert in that niche. It’s hard to be an expert when it appears you are a jack of all trades because you have written articles on so many various topics. I personally haven’t found that to be a problem, and use one name/account on all my article marketing stuff.
As far as outsourcing, I’ve put ads up on Craigslist and outsourced some to the Phillipines ~ but quite frankly I’m a perfectionist and a writer so I haven’t been very happy with the quality of outsourcing so I just keep doing it myself.

Just wondering after reading all the comments above, what happens to your ranking if you decide to cancel, say after a couple of months? Do you still have a high ranking?

What is the setup of pusedonmames. Are you just purchasing different domain names. I am confused at this process, If you could clear them up, I would appreciate it.

With UAW, which is what I currently use, they create all the unique versions for you. You have access to unique versions to use for creating content and link building. They send unique versions of the articles to not only directories, but also WP blogs who have requested articles on your specific topic ~ so you are getting a lot of great links for the keywords you are targeting.
You also create unique versions of your bio box as well, so you don’t end up sending out the exact same anchor text with all those articles, which decreases the chance of getting sandboxed.
The whole thing is completely automated.
I can’t even tell you how happy I am with Unique Article Wizard and I kick myself for not getting it earlier because I was worried about the monthly fee. It has easily created enough income to cover the cost.

I use a different service, but I have to write and spin my articles myself. Do these guys AM and UAW send out the articles for you? Why not just use and Article Submission tool, and do it yourself? Seems a lot cheaper, and its pretty automated.

That may be so for many of the spinners, but I have found UAW to be excellent at rewriting your articles. The way it is done produces articles I am proud to use on a variety of other sites to build links. I’ve been using it for a couple months now and having great success.

sounds great but i still question the effectiveness of these article submitter software because the way that it changes your article can sometimes make it seem so generic and vague that its like a 7 year old wrote it
Fast weight loss tips, I’m not sure that you are going to see your articles in the search engine search. I don’t think that’s really the point. The point of this is getting links back to your site with your particular keywords. You are using your keywords as anchor text in your article resource box right?
Those keywords anchor text links are what will help push your MAIN site up in the search engine results, and that’s how you are going to make your money.
I recently switched to UAW from article marketer, yes it’s a little more, but I have found my money sites are doing MUCH better.
I wrote this post quite a while ago, and I have not experienced any of the problems people have mentioned in the comments since I’ve been with unique article wizard. In fact, I am overjoyed with it.

I thought it was just me. I have submitted 3 articles with UAW and I haven’t seen my articles on google search. I have seen the sites that posts my articles, but none on search engines. I did a check for my backlink and I did not see any link from the articles I submitted.
I will try Article Marketer.

Unless something changes, I am getting off of UAW in favor of trying the Article Marketer, because like Ginger, I am starting to see little or no results from the article releases I have done since mid-July. I have released about 8 articles and the most I can find in Google appears to be around 8 sites. Some article searches showed 0 articles released like they never went out. It is getting very frustrating and I would probably steer people who ask to go to AM. I am. At one time, UAW was top notch but it seems like since they started some changed in their system it has went down. A friend that recommended the service to me originally said that when he started a year ago it would send the articles to 1000′s of sites (as evidenced in Google) but then started only seeing 200 or so articles. well, he left… and I stayed, but now I am seeing it dwindle to 8 max article directories. This is disappointing to say the least. Anyone else seeing this kind of thing going on with Unique Article Wizard?

I personally use Article Marketer, it works great for the purpose of building backlinks and moving up the search rankings. The customer service is not the best, but for the money it is the best you can find, I believe.
For this blog and many of my other niche sites I am number 1 for some great keywords, and working my way up on my “internet marketing” keyword. (I’m on page 3 from nonexistent.
Article marketer really does work. I have tried to contact some people I know who are still using UAW to see if they have experienced the same issues as Ginger, but have not heard back from them. I’ll let you know.

Sounds a great way of getting back links, can anyone confirm if the software is actually working now before I part with any money?
I used and loved Unique Article Wizard for about 2 months until it simply quit working. That’s right, my blogs quit receiving articles and the articles I was trying to send weren’t getting sent.
When I tried to contact support, I got canned responses and they apparently couldn’t even see the articles that weren’t being sent although that info was clearly visible for me.
I finally had no choice but to cancel my account as I was getting nowhere. I got a letter from the owner of the site asking why I canceled and sent back a long response hoping things would be resolved. Absolutely no response from the owner, so why did he ask in the first place.
Unique Article Wizard is a great service and I truly wish the customer service behind it was as good as the software. However, that was not my experience. If you decide to try UAW be prepared to fend for yourself should things quit working.
