Yeah, that’s what I decided too. Immediately after publishing a lens, I share it on Facebook, Twitter, Delicious and Stumbleupon. Doing all 4 of these things usually gets my lens indexed by the next day, when I’m ready to Lensroll it and do other major link-building activities. Thanks for checking for me though! And thanks for suggesting the Squidoo group on Facebook–they are awesome generous people and I’m really enjoying the community.

Hey Christina,
I have talked to a few of the owners of the free ad blogs, some have had a terrible time with spammers, and yet others have gotten seriously hit by Panda and just weren’t pulling in enough income to pay for the site and shut them down. This post is pretty old, and I’m really thinking that a couple links on social media, and if you can get people to “like” and “share” your posts will do better than these free ad blog links these days.

Several of the free ad blogs you linked to in this post are inaccessible in one way or another, and my Google search for “free ad blog” didn’t come up with anything similar to this concept (at least not on the first page). Do you know if these kinds of sites were penalized by recent Google updates?

There’s no software for this particular action… but UAW is software I use when trying to build links. It will publish articles you write to article directories as well as different blogs. It works well.
