the best tips I can give you is to do a little research on keywords before you write your posts… then use the keywords in your titles. Then do some linking… SEO is a tougher and tougher road to follow these days. Derek Halpern is having a webinar tomorrow that might be helpful. http://socialtriggers.com/webinars/blog-that-converts/ not sure if he’s covering SEO ~ but he’s awesome… so anything he does will help you if you apply it.

The ‘nofollow’ tag can be added to a link as such:

This tells the search engines to ignore the link in their rankings calculations. A ‘dofollow’ link is simply any link that doesn’t have the “rel=’nofollow’” attribute applied.

Thanks for your suggestion Jackie Lee. I am a trainee (I have to take training for four months before I can work on any project) in my consultancy and was just going through various sites where I can gain more knowledge about seo. There are many experienced consultants in my company and they do the job pretty well. These kind of comments aren’t going to be very good for business. You’re saying you’re new to SEO and asking pretty basic SEO questions, and yet you’re asking people to pay you money for SEO services? One of the best things about blog commenting is you get to provide some excellent information in your comment, build trust with your would be reader/client, and get traffic directly from the blogs you comment on. Re: blog commenting, your best bet is to find relevant and related blogs with an already active community and comment on them.
