What’s in a Niche?

As the co owner  of LearnitStepbyStep.com which helps walk people through the One Week Marketing process we get the chance to see a lot of people choosing niches.

It never ceases to amaze me how many times we see people coming in with the same keywords, the same product, the same niche.

With all the things available in the world to promote ~ why don’t people decide to jump outside the box and promote something not everyone else has found.

Why not find something a little bit off the beaten path, something that has a market, but not a million people promoting. There are cool little niches everywhere if you are willing to look around for a minute. It may mean not going directly to clickbank. It may mean spending a little more time in your niche research phase. It may even mean taking a little more time to put stuff together.

It can also mean, easier #1 placement on Google, less competition, more traffic, more sales, becoming an “expert” in the field, being the go to person for that niche. It can be a lot of things. But you have to start getting out of the box to find these interesting little niches.  You are going to have to go out, get yourself a little dirty and dig around a little bit.
